Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is an anxiety-related mental health condition. There are two main parts of OCD:
'Obsessions' these are unwanted and intrusive thoughts, images, impulses, worries, doubts or feelings that cause anxiety and distress. And 'Compulsions' these are behaviours or rituals that people with OCD carry out to try to stop the obsessions. Lots of the time compulsions are only short lived relief from the obsessions, and soon after partaking in one compulsion the obsessions and intrusive thoughts have returned.
